A multiplexed PCR kit for detection of helicobacter pylori and estimation of its virulence and risk of getting gastric cancer due to infection. A new molecular test to identify helicobacter pylori strains those most virulent infection reported to be directly associated to the risk of developing gastric cancer. This is a kit designed to identify any helicobacter pylori strain coming from a patient biopsy based on a number of amplified conserved DNA fragments of different sizes analyzed by gel electrophoresis displayed as a ladder that allow the identification of the bacterium in a similar way as a barcode. It provides a way to be aware about the risk of developing gastric cancer caused by the most aggressive H. pylori strains. The main benefit is to anticipate and avoid the possibility to develop gastric cancer because it has been demonstrated that the infection with a virulent H. pylori strain implies a higher risk of developing gastric cancer. At present there are no tests that can discriminate between different H. pylori strains among
