We are making highly effective advertisement through all online media (e-mail web Twitter Facebook etc.) available to local merchants in an accessible and effective manner allowing them to acquire new users at an unprecedentedly fast rate and at an unprecedentedly low cost.We do this by taking a customer-centric approach: we see ourselves as a guide for our users to explore new places which are willing to create a unique experience at an unbeatable price. This has become a popular business model around the world. However we have taken this customer-centric approach to a new level by never charging any users upfront for a deal that they sign up for - users only signify their intent by signing up on a list (which the merchant gets) and then only paying directly at the merchant when and if they choose to use the service. This is allowing our site to grow exponentially through word of mouth since users much prefer this experience over having to convert their money into an inflexible digital currency. Additionally were able to attract the best merchants and form long-term relationships with them because our model has much lower overhead and admin costs and were able to pass on those savings to the merchants and users. The size of the opportunity is quite significant since almost any local service or merchant that serves the end consumer is a potential customer. We attribute a lot of our success to successful curation - so we only select the best merchants to work with. However we have worked with cinema chains restaurants hotels electronics vendors spas and travel agencies. We have been able to attract tens of thousands of followers in multiple cities (e.g. http:www.facebook.comcuponzoteciudaddemexico) and have also developed significant social media marketing expertise.
