Everyone wants to travel experience the exceptional or unusual and enjoy the experience with their friends and family. However most people lack ideas for great holiday experiences or think it s too expensive or complicated to organize something unique and exciting.TravelaBunch encourages people to share great travel experiences more often with the people they care about. Think of staying in a villa instead of a hotel or sailing in a private yacht instead of a cramped cruise liner. We make the process of finding a holiday an entertaining and enjoyable experience giving people inspiration as well as specific travel experiences for them to book. A key tenet of all travelaBunch experiences is the way we utilize the fact that people travel together to minimize the price per head whilst offering a simple booking tool making the group booking process very easy.The market for travel experiences is vast, however we focus on a niche segment and optimize our offering for it. TravelaBunch.com targets young people 18-34 who are adventurous and travel more than once a year giving us a market worth over $3bn in the UK alone. Our major competitors come from travel flash sales companies (Jetsetter Voyage-Prive) Groupon and other group buying sites offering travel deals OTAs (Orbitz Expedia) and travel inspiration sites.Our revenue comes from the mark-up we add on top of the packages we sell. Our major costs will be human resources and online marketing. We expect to generate revenue of 9m USD in the first year of operation and triple the figure in the second year. Our profit margin will be between 15-25%.We will initially launch in the UK and quickly expand to different regions. We are now gathering subscribers and building the prototype aiming to launch in February next year.
