Problem:creating demonstration explainable videos for a service startup company is very hard or extremely pricey. If you go to a production studio company you can expect at the bare minimum 1000$ per video any better quality will jump up the price to 3-5K$.If you try to do it in your own and not suck you will probably need to buy software license and spend weeks months learning overly complicated software to get the simplest effects.Bob says: OMG i just want a 3 min video why do i need spend 3 weeks learning all this useless material i will never use again?!? i DONT have TIME for this but no way i am spending 5000$Unique solution:Using Blender an open source gpl 3d engine with built in api to allow easy creation of demo videos.Offer a simple web ui to chose effects & position text use the 3d engine to create good looking vector graphics use amazons cloud for rendering where the cost is 0.7$h profit.Opportunity:This is awesome if i wont do it someone else will for sure. There is almost anything in the cloud now but mainly using the storage feature [eg dropbox etc] i will use the CPU.There is also a high need for this it solves a real problem i personally encountered it and had to compromise on an ugly without any effects movie maker video that made my project just look bad.Market:Any startup company blogger and anyone else that wants to create a demo for something.Competition:Direct: none.Indirect: 2.- online video editing: Their main target is editing family videos. Also current services offer poor features.- editing software: adober after effetcs: costs money upfront high learning curve software needs installing complicated.
