Privity Networks is a small-scale mobile social application for urban luxury consumers that emphasizes existing offline networks privacy and curated content. Our solution is a curated social network based on a proprietary algorithm (patent pending in the US) that uses network characteristics to control access to functions on the mobile platform. The target market for this product is upscale urban young professionals who desire a *private* network experience. Our competitive advantage is our relentless focus on privacy our technical knowledge of small-scale networks (based on Jessicas graduate work at Oxford and subsequent consulting work) and our deep experience with the luxury market. Our go-to-market strategy consists of partnerships with other providers in this space including upscale blogs and newsletters (e.g. Urban Daddy Thrilllist), luxury travel consolidators (e.g. Gilt Groupes Jetsetter) and offline networks such as alumni groups and private social clubs (e.g. Oxford and Cambridge Club Boujis). Our competitive advantages in this area are numerous: strong business and computer science backgrounds experience with existing offline networks research based on social networks that has not yet been patented or commercialized and international orientation to the problems in existing social networks. Our team has initiated a strong patent program with one filed patent application and four supplementary applications in the pipeline. We anticipate future patent filings in the UK Germany Australia and other countries. We anticipate that our most likely exit strategy would be with a distribution partner that is seeking a mobile application with access to these offline networks around the world such as American Express or Gilt Groupe.
